Both these torso bases came from Vanessa. They have beautiful, elegant poses. It was the first time I had attempted a face.

A large mask covers the eyes, the most potent feature of a face. I avoided the detail of the ears too, in the one with shells, by indicating hair or a hat form. This incidentally was made from the skirt of a china angel given to me by my friend Jane.
