Jenni, Catherine and River Washford: a creative confluence of art, performance, music, folklore, ecology and celebration.

River Washford is a collaborative project between two artists and the River Washford herself, recognising the river as an active voice and creative partner.

Together we weave new mythologies and future folklore through art, sound, and story, drawing on the river’s history, presence and rhythms as both medium and muse. By treating the River Washford as a living entity, the project reimagines our relationship with nature, honouring her agency while exploring how landscape, memory, and imagination can flow together to create new narratives for uncertain times.
